Regulars

Regulars · Houston

The deal, in plain words.

Last updated August 20, 2026.

These terms cover your use of Regulars. By joining the waitlist or using the site you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service — and if something here seems unfair, email hello@regularshtx.com and tell us.

What Regulars is

Regulars is in its founding season in Houston. That means joining a waitlist, not booking a seat. We are setting the first tables by hand, and we will email you when yours is ready. We do not promise a seat by any particular date, and we may not be able to seat everyone.

Your account

You need a working email address, and you must be 18 or older. Sign-in is by a code we email you — there is no password to lose. Keep access to your inbox secure, because anyone who has it can sign in as you. Give us accurate answers: the whole service is matching, and matching on fiction wastes an evening for five other people.

Behaving at a table

A seat at a Regulars table is a commitment to five other people. Show up, or cancel early enough that someone else can take the seat. Treat everyone there decently.

We will remove anyone who harasses, threatens, or endangers another member, and we do not need to warn you first. We may also remove accounts that repeatedly no-show, that misrepresent who they are, or that use Regulars to sell, recruit, or promote something. That judgment is ours, and we would rather lose a member than a table.

Referrals

You get a referral link. Share it with people you would actually want to sit with. Do not spam it, buy signups, or create accounts to move yourself up the list — we will void the positions and may remove the accounts.

Cost

Joining the waitlist is free, and being on it will never bill you by itself. Membership is $55 per quarter, billed every three months; we will show you the price and take your agreement before charging anything. The first 40 members pay $10 per quarter and keep that price for as long as their membership stays active. Restaurants and venues charge for their own food and drink; that is between you and them.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We keep your card on file so your membership can renew, and so you can choose to add something later; we never see or store your full card number, and nothing beyond your membership is charged unless you ask for it. You can update your card, see every past receipt, or cancel from your membership page at any time — cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep your seat until the quarter you have paid for runs out.

We are still seating the first tables. If we have not seated you at a table by the end of your first paid quarter, email us and we will refund it.

What we do not promise

We do not vet, background-check, or verify members beyond confirming an email address. We introduce people; we cannot vouch for them. Use the same judgment you would use meeting anyone new — meet in the public venue, tell a friend where you are, and leave if something feels wrong.

The service is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it running and to keep your data safe, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what happens between members, at a venue, or as a result of a service outage.

Your content

Your answers stay yours. You give us permission to use them to run the service — to seat you, to describe a table to the people at it, and to improve how matching works. Nothing else. See the privacy page for the detail.

Ending it

You can leave whenever you like — email hello@regularshtx.com and we will delete your account and its data. We may suspend or end an account for the reasons above, or if we stop running Regulars altogether, in which case we will give you notice and delete what we hold.

Changes and law

If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top, and we will email you if the change is material. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
